Same. I love Tacoma and will never leave if I can help it.

I do like Tacoma Boys/H&L (they're the same thing OP!) especially for produce, cheese, seafood, and red meat as well as odd specialty items like dips and condiments but I find their bakery selection to be inferior to Met's.

For great bread you'll want to check out Metropolitan Market. They also have an incredible cheese selection and a pretty good grocery store deli that serves pasta to order in addition to more traditional grocery store deli staples.

We are extremely lacking in good delis, but we have pretty much everything else here in Tacoma.

I had a similar experience. My group believed we would see bovine and herd animals and some birds due to the way it was advertised. We were shocked to see big cats and wolves kept in what looked like dog-run sized kennels and some bears that had more space than the other large predators but their areas looked sadly dirty.
I won't ever go back.

I5 NB from Tacoma to Seattle is 100% dry and clear. Just drove it this morning. Not sure about south of Tacoma though.

I'm not sure. There were several connecting trails that ran up the very steep incline and I do know that at the turn around point it connects to the trail for Coldwater Lake.

I personally really enjoyed this Spirit Lake hike. Stunning views of the lake with Mt. Saint Helens in the background. In total it is a 9 mile out and back trail but you don't have to commit to the entire thing to enjoy it. There are beautiful views from start to finish as you hike the lake's edge.

The interstate speed limit in urban areas in the state of WA is 60, regardless of vehicle. Pretty sure this exit is right on top of a small town?
savvy-librarian t1_j1o5io1 wrote
You were driving 10 over the speed limit in less than ideal conditions in the dark and you think that the city is going to fix your car for you?
.... Seriously?

Coming in anything at 10am or later should be ok. About an hour for you if there aren't accidents or construction.
But also..... is there a good reason to be living in Chehalis in the first place? The distance between Chehalis and Tumwater and Tacoma and Tumwater is almost equal. Why stay all the way down there so far away from work if you don't have to?

What does your lease say about this?
And just to be clear: yes, you are being penalized. That is what happens when you break a legal contract, there are penalties and you agreed to them when you signed your lease. The bottom line here is that you don't have an acceptable legal reason to break your lease, and you are likely going to have to pay for it.
That being said, there are laws to protect you to a degree. For instance, your landlord can charge you rent to cover their losses for the time you agreed to pay for the lease that you are now no longer willing to pay because you are moving, but they cannot continue to charge you rent once they find a new tenant and that tenant moves in and they are required by law to make reasonable efforts to find a new tenant as soon as possible.
I also think you should look into the legality of your job moving you to your detriment so far that you have to break your lease. Depending on the agreement you have with your job, that could be illegal.

Please be respectful of tribal lands and traditions when visiting La Push. The locals do not appreciate tourists that do not have respect for their laws and customs. Some information can be found here:

Yes, spendy. Not everyone can afford to thoughtlessly drop $75-$120 on a plate. Just because something is expensive doesn't mean it's unreasonable. No one was saying the prices aren't justified.
