When I lived in Worcester it was in Quinsigamond village. A lot of older families, young pros, and a really cool African immigrant community. I loved my time there. Super friendly, safe, best access to the pike in the city.

I would highly recommend you contact Clark's public safety dept for more information on the area and what they can offer you coming or going at night in the area if that is a necessity. The area is kind of a mix. If you have reliable transportation there are several other areas of the city that are nicer.

I'm curious what they did at the Worcester plant at the southwest cut off. Growing up that place stunk to high heaven. They overhauled it in some way and it's actually liveable over there now.

Fair but there are things to be done in Worcester. I can't think of a single thing to do in Southbridge unless it involves drugs or pounding some hoodrat.

My dog is 60lbs. And we play a game called struggle snuggle. Basically I hold him and tell him that he's my world and daddy's precious little man while he looks uninterested.

Lol, you should call adult protective services. Living in a biohazard has to constitute some kind of thing that they can do.

I used to live on the less wooded side of college hill and it gets to be very windy out in the open extremely often. The amount of trash blowing around that hill on a Friday afternoon before the trucks came was a disgrace.

This reminds me of a complaint in this sub about a year ago where somebody was complaining about the fact that trash juice leaks out of the city trash trucks and some dude was ready to defend to the death that there was nothing that could be done about said trash juice. Absolutely ready to fight anyone who dared to say trash juice isn't something that happens everywhere to everyone. Some people have gaslit themselves into loving Worcester's awful public services.
ETA: the trash service is great in that if I ever need to get rid of some non kosher shit like lead, or electronics I just tape a bag to it and leave it someplace where the trucks will find it and then the city gets to decide what to do with it since they waste my tax dollars on shit like homeless daycare and running bus routes with annual ridership in the low teens.

The city's trash people are generally world class dicks. They used to skip my road on holiday weeks so they could finish on time.

If you're looking for a quiet suburban feel you're going to want to rent West of Park Avenue. I'd stay off the middle and main south neighborhoods due to population density and street parking.

Easier said than done. Half the city was ready to crucify Mariano for suggesting people work if they were going to use public resources.
Sometimes speaking the truth will make you sound like a jerk, but wasting resources and enabling people isn't exactly the way to go either
