Because it's a boondoggle that should have never been built. Can you imagine the absolute insanity in red PA if you proposed spending $1 billion on SEPTA?

Folks, one "hack" to getting crosswalk ticketing enforced *without* RRP is to request a corner clearance sign from 311. Make a 311 request with the category Traffic Sign (Other) and request a corner clearance No Stopping sign.

Because those neighborhoods have lots of RRP and in some cases have specifically asked for increased PPA enforcement. Is more RRP and requests for enforcement a sign of gentrification? Maybe. And that's how the inequity starts.

PPA does not have a revenue incentive and its enforcement agents could care less about revenue. What you describe is that they have zero safety incentives.

Huge misconception that PPA is efficient or even gives a sh!t about illegal parking, aside from maybe a few blocks in center city. I've called their hotline to report the most egregious violations in areas they patrol, and it's a crapshoot whether they show up, let alone issue a ticket.

These are good recommendations, however, I'll just say if you are having trouble with how competitive the housing is in Manyank/Roxborough it's the same if not worse in the nicer/walkable NJ suburbs.
