I think part of the reason for this is that people get laid off and suddenly don't have to do whatever stupid idea their boss told them to do. Now they get to work on their own stupid ideas.

I've literally never been summoned for jury duty. Not once. Which is good because I probably won't get selected and would probably just waste everyone's time.

Nah, just change it right there in the jury booth and hand it to the judge to dispose of

I'd prefer to model it as a universal dividend rather than a basic income. That way if the economy grows everyone gets more money.

The worst part about it is that it can't even do anything about the spills. An employee could bring a mop and bucket and stuff to actually clean it up. This thing just beeps.
Why didn't they put an industrial-strength Roomba on it so it could clean up the spills?

If winter is just six more weeks of rain and 40 degree weather, how will we know when spring gets here?

Based on the timing of the loss of data, I'm pretty sure they screwed up their on-call scheduling around Christmas. Someone was supposed to get paged who didn't or didn't see it and they lost the data over the long weekend.

How was the smoke level when you air fried these? Usually I steam wings before crisping them in the oven because a lot of the fat renders out in the steamer and makes my smoke detectors happier.

One problem I've had with these lifting-body airliners is that the seats further from the centerline of the plane would be awful during banking.

They don't even have places you can lay down in airports. All of air travel seems designed to torture people.

Being sedated and sitting up will guarantee my back will be in pain when I get off the plane. I'd be more comfortable laying down in the cargo space than sitting upright with a seat that reclines 1°
