My husband does contract work in the nuclear industry and this is how we have done it on multiple moves to multiple states. Sometimes and extended stay hotel to settle in when you land., they usually have a fridge and stove. We also found it helps to offer a little over the monthly rental price per month in exchange for the short lease. The fact of the dedication to studies would also be a positive to renters: probably not partying much and shows willingness to work hard. People like to help people .You are on the right track.
