Reply to Cheapest option in spending summer anywhere in downeast (I don’t care exactly where in downeast)? by NickySmithFromPGH
The summer is like peak tourist season. Prices will be high almost everywhere because businesses know they can fill vacancy's
Plus you should be more specific with a price range as some could blow $5k a month no issue and that would be cheap to them. Me... If I spent $5k in one month... Shit idek where I'd get $5k at one time....

During that cold snap, the one in the apartment did not work. The Landlord had to run out and purchase a bunch of space heaters for tenants and pipes froze. So, no, they don't exactly operate on extreme temps correctly..

I wouldn't rely on it for the only source.. having the woodstove helps,as long as you can keep your basement (pipes and all) warm too. When it got really cold this year, one apartment of my landlords froze up. That one apartment ONLY has a heat pump. They had to grab a bunch of space heaters for the tenant. And the pipes froze up too.
But, I mean, it's your choice, not mine

I don't boycott it, no. The closest one is like an hour away and honestly, their food sucks anyways, in my opinion. So, I'm not going waste money on food I dislike 🤷

It's also not up to you either. And none of your business. Although, I do agree with you, it should be between a pregnant woman and her doctor.

Then expanding it to include medically necessary reasons (a child not surviving pregnancy, birth, or incapable of living long, or even a lifelong debilitating issue would totally be included) would be good thing.

Meh, whatever. I'm used to it. Especially when the subject is controversial.
These points mean nothing anyways so 🤷

24 weeks is quite generous, I think this is fine and fair. I also think the mother being in danger afterwards is fair reasoning for a later term abortion.
Why do you guys wanna abort at such late stages unless it's necessary? (Honest question) I just don't get it. At the same time, I don't think I'd ever opt for an abortion myself, but you do you its harms me 0%

It will be registered. But registration will expire the same month as normal, not 12 months from today (or whatever day you get there).

Idk about you, but when I use self check out I scan and look at the screen before anything goes in my bag. 1 item or 50, doesn't matter. Takes 2 seconds to check the screen before proceeding. It's not rocket science. Scan, look, bag, repeat. Also, if you're paying attention, you can call over an employee and they can remove the item that was not supposed to be there.
Also, if you have so many items you probably should just go to a regular register anyways...
Source: I am customer who doesn't want to pay more than is necessary to for the stuff I need.

You're an idiot for assuming I don't know what drug tests test for..
However, I figured since weed is legal in state, a drs note would help.. as for other medications, are you trying to say nobody with a prescription for real drugs that are included in drug tests can work then? Cause I'm pretty sure a drs note would help them explain WHY it's in their system...

Then can't you get a drs note to explain why it's in your system?
If this question wasn't asked so frequently (not just for Maine health, it's been asked quite a bit for similar companies)
Be open and upfront about it. Don't try to hide and then try to explain it. If the employer still has an issue, you can look elsewhere for work!

Totally depends on your personal preferences, gas prices, fuel efficiency, and how much you earn.
Personally, I would hate every single second of that. My car is good enough on gas so I guess I wouldn't care too much about that part. But driving 2 hrs and 20 mins everyday would get super old after the first couple of times... Well ok, I would hate it after I got to work the first day, but I don't like driving much. I prefer to be the passenger on any rides longer than 30 mins lol
