We sold the Utah house last year. Price per KWh here has been lower always. Gas is about the same. The water is not a federal welfare program which all the America hating states seem to rely on so you actually pay what it costs here. Sewer is more expensive because we don’t have a salt lake to dump our sewage into.

I guess that is the way where you live. Honestly about a dozen years ago several communities in my local area took on a multi year project updating all the underground utilities; water, sewer and gas lines. They even put some of the electric underground at the time. It was a pain in the ass for about three years, but it was done and everyone is happy with the result. I know part of the money was from the 2008 bailout, but the rest was financed.

I was told years ago by an environmental engineer that the return on investment on water pipe replacement is about eight years. This is why I have such a hard time understanding why I always see that its not affordable to repair the lines. New water lines have a 50 year minimum life expectancy (in reality much longer with maintenance).

shoo fly pie, fresh kraut, I prefer traditional pot pie to dutchie pot pie, but you might like it, scrapple, whoopie pies, all kinds of sausage to name a few. Hit the farmer's markets and farm stands you will find all kinds of things. Laudermilch's down 422 a bit from Ray Azteca is a pretty good butcher.

We thought Ray Azteca was pretty good, especially considering what you can get at other places around here.

Edit: BTW - if you are looking for heat the Dutchies use horseradish and mustards to create a kick, although I am seeing hot peppers more and more from them the last few years.

If I read the law correctly the ethnic intimidation charge is second degree misdemeanor.

(b) Grading.--An offense under this section shall be classified as a misdemeanor of the third degree if the other offense is classified as a summary offense. Otherwise, an offense under this section shall be classified one degree higher in the classification specified in section 106 (relating to classes of offenses) than the classification of the other offense.
