Yes, it helped a ton. I took notes and will ask for a full panel cholesterol analysis next appt. Thankfully my HDL:triglyceride levels indicate I have low LDL-B, but it’s also genetic so I’ll have to see. Thanks :)

It’s interesting the standard test measures all LDL levels when the neutral LDL-A compose majority of the LDL’s….

My triglycerides are 47 so that’s a good indicator that I have low LDL B

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this. I have always been so worried about having high cholesterol but honestly all my grandparents are in their 80’s and are very healthy so this makes sense. Thank you again :)

Exactly! I was just looking up red rice yeast and it looks like they removed components that were originally present when they were concluded to lower cholesterol. You can’t win with anything!! I will say Maca root and Shatavari had studies for lowering cholesterol. I just had mine tested after taking them so I guess we’ll see!
