When they switched from the old style detaching can ring pulls back in the late 80s, to the current captive ones, we used to still remove them as well until we got used to them.

Except the bottles are already here in the UK.
We may not copy their legislation to force manufacturers to do it, but companies like Coca-Cola will just adopt it over here anyway.

It used to be the same here in the UK. Recycling advice was to always sperate the cap from the bottle, as while the caps are made from a recyclable plastic, often they don't have the facility to recycle it.
And as its made from a different plastic to the bottle if you leave it attached then it makes the bottle much more difficult to process.
You'd hope that this is no longer a problem...

Sure it is, the FDA defines spices as:
> SPICES - General Definition - Aromatic vegetable substances, in the whole, broken, or ground form, whose significant function in food is seasoning rather than nutrition. They are true to name and from them no portion of any volatile oil or other flavoring principle has been removed.
Ginger is also in the same family as cardamom and turmeric, and those would both be considered as spices as well.

It was a woman, and it's because she was loud and tried to take over the photoshoot
> Jennifer Cawthron, who was also from Leeds, came up with that one because Mel B was so loud and had tried to take over our whole photo shoot.

Well I suppose Milton Keynes is still called a new town despite having been around since the late 60s.

The craziest one has to be the Prince Philip Movement, where they believed that Prince Philip was divine.
Its to do with them seeing the amount of respect that was shown to Queen Elizabeth II, so therefore her husband must be even more powerful so they deified him.

Yep, Coca-Cola small bottles (and all the other drinks by the Coca-Cola company) for definite, but I've also gotten them on 2l bottles of water from Sainsbury.
