If you go there for the food, you get what you ask for.

Same for 7-11. I don't get how anyone eats that shit, but I'm not the one eating it so more power to them.

One could assume it's mostly construction, landscaping and road crew types working close by, but there have been many times I've seen Uber Eats picking up a delivery order for someone.

Sort of, I got pulled over for it last Thanksgiving.

Was heading home on Rt2 in Concord and didn't dim my lights for a cop car coming the other way. He didn't cite me, give me a warning or anything, didn't even want my registration after I asked him if he needed it. He checked my DL, told me why he pulled me over and that was it.

In all honesty I think the main reason he pulled me over was as an excuse for fishing for drunk drivers on a holiday.

What's disappointing about the winter weather here so far? As of today, I'd have to give it an 8.5/10. I would have given it a 9 if it wasn't for those two sub-zero days. A 10 if it wasn't for a few shovelable snow falls.

Let western MA or up north have it if they want it. Around here its just a PITA and makes things miserable.

"Inferior" is a matter of opinion. I'm really curious about Caines, but not that curious that I'd go out of the way for them or Chick-Fil-A (the nearest one to me is in Framingham. About a 30 minute drive or more).

Maybe Caines is better... maybe it isn't. Either way I wouldn't let their politics get in my way... a chicken sandwich is a chicken sandwich.

Speaking of, a few more Popeyes would be welcome.

Explain how you (or anyone else here), got "racist and classisist" from what I posted?

Maybe it was like that 30+ years go, but why do some people here still insist that any opposition has to be race or class related?

Have you (any of you), ever considered that some communities just simply do not want their way of life disrupted and are not comfortable with the developments that are not right or fit in with the community?

> I hope Weston becomes as dense as Back Bay.

And this is exactly the reason why I would and will support and contribute to any effort to repeal and eliminate the existing legislation

The state legislature has no right to dictate the zoning ordinances of the individual city's and towns regardless of whether or not they're close by or accessible to mass transit.

If they had that authority, they would have enacted the legislation mandating straight out without having to resort to blackmail by withholding funds for non-compliance.

Failing in that, it should be placed on the 2024 ballot as a statewide referendum and let the voters decide if this what they want for their community.

People, home owners in the burbs moved to and live there for a reason, and one of them is to escape from and not have to deal with the congestion and associated headaches that comes with unwanted construction.

>I moved here

So did thousands of others in the past 20 years. Why do you think rents and the cost of housing is so high (along with the availability of housing)?

>homeless and drug epidemic

Gentrification brought on by the people moving here wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it?
