That may be because of ADA laws. I honestly don't know what's required when it comes the ratio of sidewalk access versus streets. It also widely depends upon source of the funding. Many states and even the fed have grants for various programs. If that's the case the city doesn't have a choice on where the money goes if they accept it

When the southern extension of Kansas Expressway is complete, it may alleviate some the congestion. Other than that, nope, they have bigger fish to fry as of now.

Do your homework on the wear, and durability of whatever you're looking at. I screwed up and went with an acacia product because I was set on the color and distressed look. They told me it was more susceptible to scratching and chipping, but I thought I could be cautious enough all the time.
5 years later , I wish I went with a harder wood product.

MTS, mobile tire service. Jordan is the owner, it's a decked out sprinter van with tire mounting and balancing equipment. You call him and he comes to you with your tires and performs all the work in your driveway or work. It's an awesome service.
