Holy shit, you just compared two of my favorite artists in a way I never would have thought to. And it makes perfect sense.

One of the most grimy & disgusting movies I've ever seen. Not in a violent/gory way, just the overall atmosphere and the shit the main character does to get out of certain situations. Fucking gross. I love this movie and I can't recommend it enough

Rust in Peace was the last album Megadeth wrote while ALL fucked up on drugs. It's a masterpiece.
Edit: I didn't realize this post was asking about concept albums specifically.

It would have made way more sense as the last song on the album. Being halfway through ruins the flow of the rest of the tracks

Dang!!!! To me, Dawn Patrol is one of the greatest basslines of all time and a PERFECT interlude before Polaris.

THANK YOU. Queen have so many great tracks, it baffles me that We Will Rock You is such a hit. What a bore. It's like the song isn't even finished

I still like this song, but I agree. I don't think there's any pre-91 Metallica album that this song would fit well on.

Modest Mouse. I love every song, but their albums are SO long and the choice of track list doesn't really flow cohesively. They're one of my favorite bands, but by the time the album is over, the last 5 songs have all sounded the same and I'm zoned out

I'd remove that one and Survival. This entire album is SO damn good, but these both feel like underdeveloped demo tracks that somehow made it on the album. They're decent enough songs but they could use a little work for sure.

I feel each Lana Del Rey album would benefit from cutting out a couple of songs. I love her and always will, but it's tough to get through any album that's over an hour long unless it's got some REAL variety on it. And I feel each album has a chunk of 2-3 songs in a row that sound pretty much the same.

Just like any post-Ultraviolence Lana album (NFR excluded), I had to wade through this one a few times to pick out the 6-8 songs I like. But those 6-8 songs are fucking incredible and I'm so happy I get to hear them. I'm a Born to Die/Ultraviolence/NFR fan, so I'm not super hyped on the piano/string direction she's been going since after Ultraviolence. But I respect that she's making the music she wants to make and I'm always glad to hear new stuff from her.

Alice In Chains Unplugged is my favorite example of vocal harmony in music. Those two were made to sing together.

She's playing a character heavily inspired by David Lynch and his movies like Mulholland Drive and Blue Velvet

Why do you feel the need to tell him? Is it a mutual term of your relationship that you guys don't watch porn? Almost everyone does. I don't see a reason to bring it up out of nowhere
