I would see if you can get a consult with an orthopedic specialist. Ask your primary for a referral, your insurance should cover it. You may need a bunionectomy. A medical condition that may be covered as you may need to be in the hospital for a day.
Orthopedic shoes made to accommodate bunions can be very expensive. Plus, they are ugly.

If you are a senior, check with your senior center, some have a podiatrist come by from time to time (no charge). You can schedule a consult.

You are going to need a reference from your current employer to get a new job. Keep that in mind.

It is not unusual for a good cup of strong coffee to trigger a BM (bowel movement), especially in the morning.
Caffeine is more of a diuretic than a laxative, per say. But let's just say, it can get everything moving.

Let it go, focus on your own performance. What your co-worker does on his own time is none of your business. Keep it up and you will be looking for a new job. I'm serious.

I agree, just tone it down a bit for the interview. You don't want your hair to be a distraction.

Yeah, it would have to pass a home inspection/appraisal. It depends on how much they need to borrow, income coming in, credit rating, how bad the condition of the house is. A lot of factors. A long shot.

Sell it to a flipper. Get them out of there. It's not safe. Sounds like the place is a total rehab. Could cost $$$$ to fix it. Like $100,000 just a guess based on what you have described. This isn't a handyman job.
Eta: They could see if they would qualify for a re-fi with cash back to fix the house...but then they would have a 30-year mortgage again.

It depends on what you are looking for. As far as I know it is a quiet town, and not too far from Boston or RT 128.
You may be able to find a starter home there for less than you would in surrounding communities.
The state hospital is there. So, I would avoid being in the immediate vicinity of that institution as some of those folks tend to wander.

No, I'm sorry.
But when I have needed a specialist I have been happy with the care I received through B&Ws as compared to Atrius/Harvard. Just my experience.

Look for a Primary Care Physician that is affiliated with Brigham & Womens. That's your best bet for getting good care.

Well, they can contact the shelter or puppy mill that the microchip is registered to. They may be able to provide more information, as to the person they sold the dog to.

He's beautiful. If his owner doesn't claim him, I bet he'll find a good home in no time at all.

It's nice. You can wear jeans if you want :)
Depending on the weather, there is a park you can walk to, take a right when you go out the door of the restaurant (Barnacle).
For a late lunch, you may be able to catch the lunch menu and afford a nice bottle of wine.

Casual, but the view is unbelievable. If you sit by the window, it feels like you are on a boat. Back in the day they didn't accept credit cards, and I'm not sure about the winter hours, so call and check first. Kind of romantic in the evening.

A little pricier/fancy, and nicer atmosphere. It depends on your taste. Again, check regarding winter hours.
Both places are right on the water, request a table in front of a window.

There is a big difference between postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis.
Often high functioning people fall through the cracks. They can hide their symptoms well.
This woman should have been hospitalized at McLean's Hospital. Period.
Too much pressure from insurance companies for clients to be treated as outpatient, day programs, etc. Err on the side of safety, especially when children are involved. Insist on hospitalization till stable.
Of course, I don't know the people involved and am just speculating based on my experience from working in healthcare. Just my opinion.
Eta: Husband was working from home and left for 25 minutes to pick up takeout according to NYP (article and comments).

They must have family that would step up. Another odd thing.

Any possibility she had a private arrangement (off the record) with an Uber driver for pickup? And something went terribly wrong. That's the only other scenario I can think of.
Isn't it strange that a fire broke out in her former home, almost like she is trying to communicate from the dead.
