This is great — thank you so much! Yeah, it sounds like we'll need to have fenders on...or just drive 😅

Hey! I caught that r/NewToVermont exists and checked it out, but the Visiting Vermont flair also was available. If this kinda question truly is inappropriate here, I'm down to relocate it.
I did mean that I'm being realistic — if it's not the place to be during that month of the year, so be it, but I'm not really seeking out beautiful weather. We're mountainless down here, so y'all do have that going for you year-round! Thanks for the input — I appreciate it.

Ahh — forgot about that, yeah. We're both thoroughly extroverted, but it sounds like it gets pretty packed during vacation season 😅

Definitely and always looking for train tips — thank you so much! We were hoping for a Maine-train this winter but it didn't line up. Sounds like summer's the time!

Ooh — thank you for the Campton and Waterville insight! I'm prepared for the toss-up that the weather might be — we're no strangers to sky surprises.

This is what I'm fearing — I know it's a total luck of the draw for April. Guess we'll just have to enjoy the early spring scenery and come back ;)

Ha! Thank you — we go after as much fun as life allows :) And thanks for the awesome info! I had a feeling trying to nix driving in favor of a train and bikes was going to be tricky, but the Kancamagus is 10/10, so that sounds like the move. Time to check out Lincoln and North Conway!

Yeah — it's a tricky time of year, for sure. I'm not looking for dreamy so much as someplace with 1) a dark sky at night, should the weather be clear (oy) and 2) y'know — an ounce of variation in elevation, which RI simply does not have :(
