Having the filter on the front makes the car less efficient, requiring more energy, producing co2. Probably the total effect is 0 or negative.

The backlash for "luxury" apartment buildings is misguided. They're basically cheap cookie-cutter buildings. ALL off the shelf residential units are billed as "luxury" and are mostly meeting modern standards for HVAC, etc. Rent will normalize, and even if new buildings are more expensive (because they're more convenient for most), surrounding buildings will actually see a drop in rent. It's been shown. And we need more housing.

Great, so their tax rate is 3.4%. What happened to that minimum tax rate that was passed?

Not with heatpumps. Plus the additional benefits of not needing gas hookup or running a pipe. Still, makes the most sense for all new construction, which is currently the rule thankfully. I'd rather see that money go straight to solar and EV.

Reply to NYC subway booth clerks to become free-roaming station agents today by hiegel
Maybe not all stations, but the Bedford stop has a handicap door open button inside the booth that the (awesome) clerk uses for people coming off the train. What about things like that?
