This isn’t really accurate. Not only would a zero day not require clicking, but windows zero days are really not that common. I doubt a phone thief would have one. Maybe a certain Israeli security company.

Odd, I have the same model with apple pay but don’t have that problem. It turns on immediately (even before I fully let go of the button) but if I press the button a second time (for apple pay) it will just open the menu above the lock screen.
