i haven’t been yet, but i have an appt at refuge next month. a friend got a tattoo there and it looks great! the artists are tagged on their instagram so you can check out their work and see if it’s a style you like.

Reply to Last week I posted a picture of Madam Sherri's staircase. I mentioned in a comment about a view called Moon Ledge, where you can see Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts from one spot. This is the spot. by bleucheese87
i love mine ledge, which you can hit on the same hike if you're looking for a bit longer hike!

i toured there a few years ago, the hallways and common areas smelled terrible. didn’t bother applying.

toby's rock mountain in naugatuck! awesome waterfalls and a cool view, and not too challenging. one of my favorites! the other commenter who suggested naugatuck with the route 8 view was more than likely talking about this same hike.

i loved living in the west end of hartford! some cool bars and restaurants, and smack in between downtown hartford and west hartford. i second other comments that downtown hartford isn't ideal as there's not much happening there (which is unfortunate). definitely suggest checking out the west end.

i wouldn’t move downtown, i’d move to the west end. i lived in the west end for years and loved it, and elizabeth park is right there, along with a ton of living options.
