Wow, $15 is a hell of a deal for haircut. My barber charges $22 and I tip on top of that.

If you can’t afford the $7-$10K for an automatic failover Generac system look into a self installed transfer switch and a regular 5-8K watt gas generator. The transfer switch isn’t difficult to install yourself but if you are worried an electrician can do it for you. 8K likely won’t be enough to power your whole house but should be enough to power the furnace fan, a few lights and the fridge. Total costs should be in the $2K -$4K range.

I feel you. Been looking for my old car for a few years. Tracked it to Western MA, tried posting to FB and elsewhere, nada. Only consolation is that the VIN isn’t listed as crushed or totaled (that I’ve found) She’s still out there, somewhere.

Don’t wait till January. Stores will have have bathing suits on sale then. Buy stuff now while stores still have winter stuff on the shelves/in stock.

The best ones are not necessarily the most expensive. A lot of cameras are just rebranded.

I own 2.3 acres of my fathers old homestead up in rural Maine. It’s not lakefront and he’s been gone over a decade now. Its not worth a whole lot, and I’m living away, far away, but I keep paying the taxes year after year thinking some day….
