It’s not actually an ongoing call but rather the contact card for the person you’re on a call with.

They only discussed needing to send photos to one person (not people in general) and expressed that they care about quality.

No, it’s the first letter of the label for that plan, which could be anything.

Not if you want to send full quality photos…

Use whichever camera produces a better photo. The ultrawide lens on regular iPhones is not good at close-up shots because it lacks autofocus.

iPhone lenses have been getting larger over time, which means they can gather more light and produce better images, but the trade-off is that they can’t focus quite as close as smaller lenses can. However, recent Pro models can do macro shots — focusing extremely close to the subject — with the ultrawide lens.

I love Deep Fusion. Of course, it only gets used on some photos anyway.

You only have to do the current period reset for carriers that don’t support native monthly data tracking. For the carriers that support it, there’s no option to reset, and instead it shows current and previous billing period, which you can toggle between. For example, here is a screenshot of it.

You can store many eSIMs but you can only have two SIMs active at once.

I’m currently traveling in Asia using a local SIM (an eSIM) I bought from 3 Hong Kong, which works across many countries. I was able to access this SIM from 3 HK despite never stepping foot in HK because it’s an eSIM that I was able to easily buy from their website.
eSIMs enable this kind of choice and competition that’s impossible with physical SIM cards, where you’re stuck with only the options that are physically in front of you. Physical SIM cards have some advantages over eSIMs, too, but I love eSIMs as a traveler.

SIM cards at the airport are notoriously overpriced compared to the options waiting for you if you buy your SIM card in town at a place like a carrier shop or convenience store.

On Apple’s keyboard, you can type symbols, etc. very quickly because the modifier keys work just like a real keyboard. For example, when on the letters keyboard, hold the 123 key with your left thumb, then tap any character with your right thumb. You can even swipe from the 123 key to any character. These gestures also work with other modifier keys, including shift and ABC.
Plus, you can double-tap shift to enable caps lock, hold space to enable trackpad mode, double-tap space for a period, and hold many characters for secondary characters.
