Yeah, basically! I started with mechanical keyboards and then got into fightsticks because it’s a similar interest in the sense that you can customize everything about them, they’re relatively inexpensive and great for people who love tinkering

It is! Comes stock with a square gate but the joystick and buttons are essentially Sanwa clones. You can replace the gate with whatever Sanwa JLF-compatible gate you want on the stock 8BD joystick
