Given who are the top "unintentional injuries" states, looks like overdose deaths are probably included in this bucket.

I'm just scratching the surface here:
J.J. Foley's in downtown, J.J. Irish Pub & Grill in Dot, Blarney Stone in Dot, Eire Pub in Dot, Criac in Quincy, Darcy's Pub in Quincy, Brendan Behan Pub in JP, Biddy Early's in downtown, Amrhein's in Southie, Hillside Pub in Canton
None of these are tourist traps, except for maybe Eire Pub. Hillside is my favorite.

You could say it is the best tourist trap irish pub. There are great ones in Brighton Center, Dorchester, Quincy, and Canton.

I live a couple towns away from Weymouth and never knew it was "illegal" there. I feel like Weymouth is sandwiched between ~ 6 towns all very close by where probably most people that live there don't even know that it is a law.

It's also #50 in economic development. Keep up the backwards voting CT! Worst state to do business in.

You've got 6 districts of Greenwich in this list. Might as well slide in Mianus.

How is it possible that parts of Boston got "7.2 inches" and towns just south of Boston recorded 2 inches?

Reply to How do Massachusetts folks/New Englanders feel about this map (Accurate, half true? Etc). by [deleted]
There is no data or even quality of any data so why make it look like there are quantitative figures behind this map. It is clearly just someone's opinion of a perception of a broad region. And if you have no data, at least make it funny.
And what does the category "smart" mean? So what this is saying is that there are no smarts across the U.S. but the Northeast has just a little?

Reply to Vermont vs New Hampshire by Lucky-Specialist-790
Cause NH is pro-business. It is very competitive nationwide for winning private businesses to move their operations up there. I used to do this type of work in a previous life. VT is slowly starting to realize this economic opportunity around its Burlington area (mainly Williston). Also, NH is technically part of the Northeast "mega-metropolis" which spans from D.C. all the way to Manchester.
Many people are ignorant with how great of a state NH is. Its got freedom, natural beauty, higher educated people, tons of recreational activities, easy access to airports and major cities, and pro-business. Once all my kids are done with schools in MA, I'm outta here.

Overdoses have to be a big factor in the "unintentional injuries" bucket. No one talks about it enough but CT has a series overdose pandemic going on, in particular, New Haven county. Most of these people go unnoticed or are estranged with their family so there are rarely any media stories on them. The big factor is the esplosion of fentanyl. Fentanyl is the real pandemic out there.
