There is an outreach called the Trucker/Traveler Ministry run by Bruce Maxwell in the Gateway. He's a good guy to have around.
Can she make it to Bedford? More strolling and shopping and more cheerful.

Reply to Just a little vent about voting in elections... I realize that it's a right of every citizen to do this but when this person is mentally unable to but a family member requests a ballot and votes for this person, well, it's just not fair. by [deleted]
Yo be careful here. People with intellectual disabilities DO have the right to vote under many circumstances, sometimes even under legal guardianship. Folks with intellectual disabilities have rights too of course, don't assume this is automatically illegal.

My friend, you're moving to what they call pennsyltucky. Central PA is nothing like the cities, but it's perfectly fine for those that want it. Just be aware. With your former states of residency, I'm sure you will be. Welcome! Check out the dcnr for nature stuff. We're spoiled.

It's completely normal for people to send mail encouraging voters across state lines. Not sure who this is , but check out Vote Forward for something similar. We're in a swing state, and a tight federal election, so folks from out of state try to encourage registered voters like us, whose votes make a big impact.

Local community banks and credit unions are not the same things as huge international banks. And based on the article, I don't think anyone is being given special treatment based on skin color. Being black isn't a requirement to bank there, they just serve areas with predominantly black residents.

Well done Netflix! Everyone, join a credit union if you can.
