i came here from the midwest and have made more close friends here than i had there. i’ve met so many friendly people. maybe just depends on where you’re at here, i am a bit out of seattle

coming from illinois, to me the beauty is literally everywhere here in washington. i’ve been to most of the states, and this one stands out majorly. sometimes i meet people who are from here that also don’t see the beauty, it genuinely confuses me. the summertime here is the absolute best. endless things to do and it’s all stunning.

it’s referring to the seattle freeze - meaning that generally people are not the most talkative/friendly. i live in a smallish town about an hour from seattle and find people to be incredibly friendly though!

Moved here from Illinois. Yes 1,000 times over. I giggle internally hearing people complain about the apparent cold (at least where i live). it’s mild here.
