I make a little above that.
Bought my home a few years ago in Somerset for 265k. My house is valued today at 500k and I wouldn't feel comfortable spending that much.
I dont know how anyone does...

Planning on leaving myself. Housing market here is hosed. We could sell the house we bought for 265k years ago for 500k today. How can anyone that doesn't own a home already able to afford a house here?

Too good to be true. This is common in every town.
They're.going to get you to lease them and claim your electric savings will pay for the lease and your electric bill

Theyrr good but one time they gave my pizza to another family and then tried to blame me for it, refusing to make me another. They were extremely shitty

We went last year and it looked good to us, but with kids we were zipping everywhere. They were doing renovations when we were there

The volunteers there do a great job of maintaining this and the other ships there. My boys always have so much fun when we go.

Way too much man
1500 sq ft here and I paid around $10k. We had a family member do the install so I saved a boatload on labor (don't worry, I paid him labor on the side since he did it off-work hours). But 48k is absolutely ridiculous.
Heating for $300/month isn't so bad honestly.

Something no one is saying is it also depends on the parents. My girlfriend and I in college had a 2 year age gap and I hit the age where consent was an issue. I even had a cop try to arrest me over it - forced me to drive her home and her parents basically yelled at him. We had been dating for over a year at that point.

Oh wow! That sucks. For such a small house that's an absurd price.
We're at 1500 sq ft using just heat pumps (no oil this year) and 500 was the highest I've ever seen.
Like others said I wouldn't worry about the PC. Something is sucking crazy juice.
noodle-face t1_j3cnmu9 wrote
This year we decided to run all electric heat.pumps and got a bit too cozy with our thermostats and the bill was $500 nd that was extreme.
What is your thermostats actually set to?
I'd get mass save into your house IMMEDIATELY. It's free, they'll help you figure out what's going on. We pay for mass save with taxes, so call them up

Not personally but I've worked with several who are acquaintances. To be honest I don't know how it'd be lifesaving but accept I could be wrong.

The problem is around 'medically necessary '. I won't get into the trans debate but you're comparing a life saving surgery to that.
noodle-face t1_j39q31g wrote
Can non trans people receive that care if they wish? Doubt it, so therefore there's no discrimination.
They received a benefits package before employment and knew what they were getting into
