Anything that was missed is stuck in there and it will take longer to notice an infection starting. An open wound can be continuously cleaned which allows for error and you'll be able to see the skin and fluids changing colors or even start to notice a smell earlier

We've been so programmed by movies and TV to think that every single wound needs stitching. Often stitching is not the best option because it has a higher chance of infection. Being able to observe an open wound and clean it multiple times a day is healthier. Though it does create more of a scar and a aesthetically people don't love that

I also just disagree with how gross the dispensary model is. It's so much consumption, construction, resource usage, etc. Kind of against everything that traditionally pot smokers were into. Especially with something that really is not difficult to produce yourself

I hear these concerns but you have to imagine the changed context of legalization. You're not buying off the street. You're buying from your neighbor who put twenty plants in their mulch bed. You'd be surprised how much you can grow for yourself in just a couple pots.

Imo that's the best option. Fuck all these dispensaries. Just let people grow their own shit and keep the black market running without cop interference

Yeah left my house in somersworth this morning snd we had about a quarter inch already. I checked the forecast and they're saying that between just 10 and 11 am were supposed to get 1.5 inches of snow

I think a part of this though is if we think about what's been happening to the trees recently. 2020 was a pretty brutal drought. 2022 was another big drought. The trees are whooped and these heavy snow and heavy wind events do a ton of damage to an already struggling population

I was born on October 6th so I missed my cutoff by a very similar amount. It was pretty sweet to be driving like one month into my sophomore year.

You can see it if you look. I've had a favorite walking spot on the coast of New Hampshire and I can definitely see now how the coast has eroded in the last three years

Ha I have waited in these kinds of situations and just ignored polite drivers until they go first like they were supposed to. Drive predictably not politely. The worst is when they stop to let you in and there's no traffic within 300 ft of them. Like dude if you had just turned I'd be on my way already you're doing fuck all for favors

Reply to Best cocktails in Portsmouth? by jepppej
The wilder in portsmouth or the Wallingford dram in Kittery have the best cocktails. I'm pretty sure they're owned by the same people.
For things to do there is ice skating at strawberry banke, maybe live music at the press room, karaoke at Daniel's street, pool and darts at legends. The music hall might have something good going on. I'd check some local events websites and look around. There's always something going on. Just last weekend there was a great steely dan cover band in Kittery so who knows

Well it's devastating news for the climate. It just shouldn't be like this right now. Especially on the back end of a severe drought all summer, it's a tad bit ominous as to where we're heading

You don't agree with the boom and bust cycle of capitalism? It's indisputable. That's why there's a crash roughly every ten years. It has to happen for capitalism to continue to function. That's not a politically motivated observation at all just the simple truth. As you would say, you can look it up
Edit From investopedia, "The boom and bust cycle is a process of economic expansion and contraction that occurs repeatedly. The boom and bust cycle is a key characteristic of capitalist economies and is sometimes synonymous with the business cycle.
During the boom the economy grows, jobs are plentiful and the market brings high returns to investors. In the subsequent bust the economy shrinks, people lose their jobs and investors lose money. Boom-bust cycles last for varying lengths of time; they also vary in severity."

Do you mean the withdrawal from Afghanistan? Not Iraq? Handling of COVID-19? Trump was in charge of that through the entire first year. Almost all lockdowns and stimulus happened under trump. The border isn't in shambles it's just a republican talking point because they're scared that white people are having less babies.
Inflation and the economy overall has nothing to do with either administration and everything to do with capitalism. There is always a boom and bust cycle in capitalism. Covid allowed corporations to line the shit out of their pockets, through the government, and because of that things are getting very very tight for the working class. Soon we'll have a huge crash which will allow the capitalists to buy up our assets like it's a fire sale. This is how capitalism has always worked

Sure no, but you could clean it right before bed and after waking. Couple that with a midday clean and you're probably on a fine schedule
