I'd just get a new tank. Your oil company should be able to help with getting the fuel out of your existing tank. IME, oil burners are seriously BIFL. You need a new injector every few years, but that's basically it. I had one in the 90s that was 40 years old when I got it, never gave me any trouble.

Vinyl windows are often cheap replacements people use when they replace old single-pane windows, and there are often uninsulated gaps around the frame. Try some gaffer's tape around the entire window frame to try to seal it.

I'll also throw in that often the electric meters for all the units in a complex are clearly labeled in a common area. Unplugging one is simply a matter of snipping the wire seal, removing the locking ring and pulling the meter out.

You should get some penetrating oil. PB B'laster is one, Kroil is another brand. Spray that on the threads and leave it for an hour or so. They will work their way into the threads by capillary attraction and lubricate the stuck parts.

If you can't travel then maybe narrow your range. Asking where on the entire East coast is a waste of everyone's time if you can't leave Newark.

I have the Sennheiser PC38X and it's pretty solid. I use it for meetings so I've never rage quit and hurled it across the room, but it's pretty sturdy. I also like that it's got a mechanical switch that turns off the microphone when you flip it up, so you don't have to click a button or something to mute.

Carfax, maybe? It was a pretty big recall, so I would think there should be some mention of it. First I guess look up "Toyota pickup rust recall" and see which years and models were affected, maybe this wasn't one of those.

Make sure you check the frame for rust. There were several years of that truck recalled because the rust preventative wasn't applied correctly to the frame.

Too legit to spell check? Sorry, but I think they have a reasonable duty of care to protect their patrons from things like this. If the customer insists then that's on the customer, but the studio shouldn't let this kind of work out the door otherwise.

Get some large appliance boxes and put the leaves in those. They're still compostable, and should be free from any store that sells refrigerators or dishwashers.

I should take a picture of my 30yo Avant Stellar. Kinda like the Unicomp, it was a rebranded Northgate Omnikey, another legendary keyboard. Unfortunately it's got a PS/2 connector and I haven't found a USB converter that does n-key rollover, so it's relegated to server duty.

I bought a GE Café range late last year. The oven controller was faulty, and it took them three tries before I raised hell and they replaced it (no Christmas cookies, and we had to have our traditional holiday dinner catered). Then the new one had some packaging tape on the oven blower that flapped and made noise, so I had to pull the oven half apart to fix it. Not recommended.
