I have long COVID brain fog so that’s my excuse for not putting this together sooner.
We have a police commissioner named Outlaw? That seems—— ironic.

The Red Lion plant was walking distance to where I grew up and several neighbors worked there. After it was shuttered, huge families of deer took over the outside and you could always see dozens in a drive by.

They use ticket master but i really don’t think they are owned by LN as they’re a non-profit that solicits donations and provides receipts for tax purposes.

The FM schedule looks busy though not full. I’m guessing some tours will choose an alternative over Live Nation venues when they can.

I honestly didn’t know that bots writing articles is a thing. It actually makes me feel better. I teach college writing and I couldn’t fathom even my first-years doing that poorly.

This article isn’t very well written, contradicts itself, and uses pretty suspect data to back its claims. It even uses a photo that doesn’t feature any of the attractions mentioned. I’m not usually so harsh, but I’m calling Bullshit on this headline’s claim.

Maybe a dumb question but can really poor air quality cause issues other than respiratory? I’m in CC as well and have had an unexplained stomach ache since last evening.

We went to the historic area pretty much annually in the 1970s as a class trip and I’m sure I touched it every time.

Flyers were in the Stanley Cup Finals 1974, 75 & 76 and won the first two. I was always sad “hat trick in 76” didn’t happen.
Sixers won their division 1977 & 78.
Phillies won their division 1976, 77 & 78, and WS in 1980 and NL Pennant in ‘83.
Eagles made postseason 1978, 79, 80 (lost Super Bowl) & 81
Mid-70s through early 80s was a golden period, and I always thought it was because we were also the epicenter of the Bicentennial. These were the years I was 8 through 15 and life was very very sweet for this sports-crazy Philly gal.
Edit: missed space and typo; added to Phils list per another poster’s correction.

Meaning I can’t blame my long COVID I guess. So I’ll just blame my advancing age.
