They do not collect on non-fault overpayments, BTW. You can pay it back but they won’t come after you for it. Instead, they’ll take it out of future benefits the next time you apply.

“Heat pump is done at these temperatures”
Ya know, I would’ve thought so too. Bought a house with a 17 year-old heat pump last December. I had to run my auxiliary heater one cold day this November (high 20’s), so I figured for sure I’d have to be managing that in the middle of the night during this cold. I’ll be damned but I haven’t had to run the auxiliary at all during this cold snap. Thermostat is perpetually set at 68°, and the old-ass heat pump is doing work.

How does a semi truck get going the wrong way on the turnpike? Drive the wrong way out of a service plaza?

No shit. There’s a real fruitcake. I tried to get township zoning to do something about it once but they’re either too scared of a 1A suit or they agree with him, because they won’t do shit about it.

As a feller from Kansas originally, I can at least confirm that the green cloud thing is widely believed.
Every tornado I have ever seen was preceded by green sky and hail, so I kinda understand where folks are coming from.

Municipalities are terrified of 1A litigation, so they’ll try desperately hard to avoid enforcement of their very-constitutional sign ordinances. I had convo about it with a solicitor a couple of years ago. He agreed that the ordinance governing temporary signs was enforceable against political signs that stay out too long or are too big, but that it would be up to me to file a writ of mandamus if I wanted them to enforce it. The politically mixed panel of supervisors were unanimous about not wanting it enforced against political signs.

This. Definitely my first thought as well—you probably answered something wrong earlier that limited your choices further down the application.
