I agree that it’s overrated. My cousin was adamant that it was the cutest thing she ever read and I saw it recommended often on TikTok and Insta.

I really couldn’t vibe with it - I thought it was boring and I was not invested in the relationship at all.

I am convinced that anyone out there - TikTok and everywhere else - who is recommending it is playing an elaborate prank. Surely no one read this and thought it was…good?

When I got to the letter I clapped the book covers together and just said NOPE. It wasn’t clever, it wasn’t well written, it was STUPID.

I was assigned this book in grad school. I started reading it and initially thought it was so boring. Once they started looking for Ruth’s possible, I WAS HOOKED! I devoured this book in one night, and cried my eyes out.

I didn’t realize the “twist” until AFTER reading it. Great read! I’m dying to read Klara and the Sun Next
