Fan of the book but living in Europe so waiting until it is available here before watching.

So I am actually surprised that it wasn't a mini series. It's not too long of a book. If they could get all of The Handmaid's Tale (314 pages) into a 10 episode run, it feels like you could hit most of Kindred (287 pages) into an 8 episode run.

There seems to be so many people who think the ending meant they were dead the whole time and I see it repeated often. The ending to AI is another one that isn't suppose to be ambiguous but people seem to misconstrue what is happening a lot too. They weren't aliens. They were just more advanced robots.

The Mowerys are doing Christmas movies at the moment. I watched one and Ray and Lisa played her parents. There parts weren't even relevant to the plot. They had them green screened in Hawaii talking over the phone. They have mini reunions like that all the time. There is a Netflix show with a Mowery and Jackie Harry too.

Show titles rarely make sense after the first season or two. How is Jess still the New Girl when she has lived with them for half a decade. Are they still Friends or a hook up circle. Twin Peaks? But James Hurley is out of town in that rich ladies house. He Broke Bad in season one. He's done Breaking. Even The Wire wasn't about a wiretap after season one.

That's the joke. It's about a one hit wonder girl band of the 90s reforming after a rapper samples one of their songs. They then go through a whole thing where they realise they were exploited and that their songs weren't as empowering to young girls as they thought. But it is light on message and heavy on comedy.
