Do you have any solid proof that their claims are false or are you just desperately hoping they are so you can feel justified in dehumanizing them and treating them like they’re dogshit you just stepped in?

It doesn’t matter where they are better off. It matters that politicians are shipping these people all over the country to cities they’re not familiar with, treating them like commodities or pawns to be bought, sold, and manipulated instead of living, breathing human beings.

It is incredible to me just how comfortable people like you are with utterly dehumanizing living, breathing souls as long as they’re poor, have dark skin, and come from a place that isn’t familiar to you. It’s really, really sad. These are human beings, the same things that make up your organs and cells make up theirs. None of us are that different, yet you are completely comfortable with treating these people like mud under your shoe.

Are you truly naive enough to think that if the government was doing something shady to minority groups they would leave a well-documented paper trail? Literally all of American history tells us that won’t happen.

Texas lied to them about the places they were going and the opportunities that were awaiting them. They lured them with promises of food, jobs, and housing, then sent them to be someone else’s problem with absolutely none of those things waiting on the other side. Manipulating someone into agreeing to something isn’t consent.

Tell Republicans to stop displacing innocent human beings and shipping them around like they’re commodities to be bought and sold.

Not that I don’t believe them, but I’m willing to take information presented by Fox News affiliates with a grain of salt. This sounds a lot like conservatives are setting up a dogwhistle situation to sow plausible deniability when it comes to the legitimacy of the shooter’s violent, homophobic agenda. Perspectives may change as the information gets more detailed, but publishing a special news article just to let everyone know the shooter uses they/them pronouns sounds an awful lot like a setup to double down on homophobic and transphobic narratives in the wake of this tragedy.

What is the narrative that’s being pushed? “Don’t murder queer people for living their lives and minding their own business”?

A homophobic right-winger from a family of January 6th insurrectionists went out of his way to pick a populous place filled with members of the LGBTQ community, carefully planning his massacre on a day and time when the club would be most crowded (Saturday night). I would understand the confusion if he picked a random shopping mall or city center, but this was a gay club. If a carefully constructed slaughter of a minority population isn’t a hate crime then what is?

The shooter literally came from a family of homophobic January 6th insurrectionists. This is the direct result of right wing “groomer” conspiracy being spoonfed to their followers.

While we’re at it, hold every last right wing nutcase parroting “groomer” vitriol accountable for increasing violence against the queer community. People like Tucker Carlson and of course Boebert should be held responsible for encouraging violent homophobia that leads to murderous hate crimes.
