What’s the 980, the last one on the keyboard wall? First thought it was the translucent blue TM980 with a custom blocker above the numpad, but yours looks more like a teal color. Could just be the lighting.

Is that a stack of balisong stickers and a matching pin? Also, seeing that GBA in the corner reminded me of how I have no idea where mine is 😭 But I’ve still got my SP and chunky original DS. Love the color theme going on here! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️ Oh, and nice find re: the keyboard haha 😂

The OP is suggesting that they do not need “thock” because they’re using the keyboard in an office space where coworkers might be bothered by a noisy keyboard. Since Browns aren’t typically known for being thocky, and also due to their easily adaptable features (light-ish weight, very light tactility), they can be a great option not only for working around other people, but also for people who maybe don’t care about high-spec builds or sought-after sound profiles.

Always great to see people innovating. Even though I’m a big board user (120%, 1800, etc.) I think these kinds of builds are important to the community as a whole. They introduce new ideas that have a chance to catch on and new ways of accomplishing things we already do.

No reason to insult OP. It’s an easy mistake to make for someone who hasn’t bought keycaps that have been kitted out like this. Remember, a huge majority of people purchase full keycap sets. Yes, it’s important to double check your keyboard to make sure you’re getting everything you need and that it all fits. But there’s no need to make someone feel bad about making an honest mistake. We were all learning new things about the hobby at some point (and we’ve probably all made purchases we regret or that were not as informed as they could have been). Ease up.

I am a fan, but I just don’t have any of my own! My biggest is a 120%. I started in the hobby thinking a 60% was so cool, but now I don’t like anything below a 96%—and even then, I don’t actually like how 96% layout is smooshed together! I’m team Big Board.
