Plenty of trucks spend their entire day doing deliveries in a single city. Not all truck routes are long-haul.

Just the amount of movement overall is going to be miserable if you're away from the central axis of rotation. You'd end up 30ft. higher than the other side of the plane in a banked turn.

Even if our power plants ran on gasoline, it would be more efficient to generate power in one place rather than in millions of tiny power plants.
