I live where it gets cold. Lethally cold, at times. I can not fathom people who also reside in a similar climate ever turning someone away in the midst of a storm. Just.... Fucking mind boggling to me. Dude should be praised, to be sure, but those who turned him away should be powerfully ashamed of themselves. At least one of them had the decency to apologize in tears the next day.

That said, it could very well be that some of them did not feel safe allowing a strange man into their home. I get that. But, come on. Dude got turned down many times. They all felt unsafe?
