The first time I tagged along hunting, I went with my friend from Idaho city up to sunset mountain. I ended up getting separated and walking 6 hours through the backcountry to the highway so I could get back into town. Weirdly enough it made me fall in love with the outdoors so Idaho City will always have a special place in my heart.
