Yes, I was very surprised they cast her for that role, she fucking nailed Dina on 'Superstore' so it's been hard to accept her in this.

Abbot Elementary and Ghosts are lightyears better than any other sitcoms on television right now but I agree it's not as good as any of those you mentioned.

Doesn't Apple have infinite money, I thought this streaming channel was just an advertisement gimmick.

Reply to Sunday Ratings: The Debut of ABC Drama ‘The Company You Keep’ Left at the Starting Gate by mar5526
It was better than the average show on network television these days, not a very high bar but here we are. Those ratings are abysmal, it's pretty bad when the only way to survive the ax on network television is to make a spin off of a spin off. They better hope they do amazing in delayed viewing.

I really hope they have a massive recap before the second season starts, it's been FOUR years, I don't remember anything.

Can anyone name a network drama television show that isn't copaganda, or about firefighters or doctors that is still on the air and has run for more the six seasons?
Edit: Kung Fu and Nancy Drew are on season 3, we do have the CW's The Flash, and if we're generous The Equalizer is on season 3, technically not about law enforcement, even though she is a former CIA agent. A Million Little Things is ending after their 5th season.

I think the looming writers strike might have helped here.
