Hard work is not worth it because most of the money you make with "hard" work is just future hospital bills. I work in a factory and my shoulder and back is all messed up from lifting and moving stuff and working on concrete is hell on my legs. The only reason I still work there is that they offer health insurance and it's close to my home 8 miles away. I am trying to look into something less physically demanding so I don't ruin my body by retirement age.

I read that female ceo's or women in high positions of power tend to not higher women because of issues like this and maternity leave etc. they want their workers to be there 100 percent of the time ya know to squeeze that extra min out of them.

I think micromanaging can be a bad thing it makes people think you don't trust them to do their job. I take it as I'll hire you to do a job and if you don't do a good job then you lost my business. Plowing is one of those things that lots of people do in the winter and if you want you can buy a snowblower and do it yourself.
