It’s pollen and dust and then moss can grow from that. Maguire’s car soap works fine on it. My ex once bought an old ford focus that had been sitting under a tree for years to restore. It was covered in moss and we genuinely thought the car was green in color. Washed it and it was red. Welcome to the PNW

Oregon and Washington are both on the top ten list for missing persons and a lot of that is due to heavily forested and remote areas. Every year there are at least one or two stories about bodies found of long lost hikers or unidentified persons found in the woods

The glass museum is cool. A day walking around Pike place market and the aquarium is fun. The superwheel is pretty iconic and of course the space needle. Visit the Freemont Troll. There is a pop culture museum that was fun and there is a tour of the tunnels… make sure there is nothing in your vehicle to tempt thieves and be prepared to pay for parking, admission fees and for goods at the market. Enjoy the coffee and the wine and the local microbrews. Seattle has great fusion cuisine and friendly people. I always buy an umbrella when I visit Seattle even though I grew up in the PNW and almost never use it. It’s just a thing in my family. Take lots of pictures and talk to the locals.

No. I mean I do believe they’re dumber than rocks but they weren’t planning on robbing a bank.

I worked for a car rental agency in the PNW for 13 years and during 9/11. The rental agency will generally be very careful about one way rentals but if you are not a Canadian citizen and/or returning the car back to the US you’ll be fine.

You can drive an american rental car into Canada temporarily as long as you are not a canadian citizen.

Why do I have a nagging suspicion that alt right groups are tangled up in this, perhaps testing security for their next act of stupidity as they seek another civil war?
