Just buy a different phone if photography is your priority - get a Pixel or a Samsung - or hope Apple sorts their HDR algorithm. Watch some camera comparison videos in case you consider a switch. But I guess that is an expensive solution 😅

I am sticking with this phone as i don't take many photos and just use my wife's Samsung when taking family photos.

From what I have heard:

  1. Use 3rd party apps like Halide to take RAW and post process them yourself.
  2. Take every photo as Live Photo & use the keyframe that you like.

TBH, my iPhone XR took better photos in usual conditions than the 13 - at least more pleasing even if less detailed. Even the skin tones, at least Indian, were better on XR, 13 makes us all orangish.

I could tell one more solution, but then I would get down-voted in this sub. 😅

I understand what you mean. But maybe the point of apps is that you need to have elements optimised much better than websites - eliminating the need to zoom on things. What you still might want to zoom into is things like pictures - which you have to tap to open 'view' mode to zoom in.
