Do you have insurance coverage? If yes ask them for a referral. Or tactfully mention up front your insurance coverage when trying to get an appointment. Counseling is an under-funded area to start with, and it seems like there is an exodus of healthcare pro's out of Maine for several years for multiple reasons.

Years back was giving the same speech to my daughters. Driving down the turnpike, right on cue a businessmans special passed on my left. the car then turned sideways with the front towards me, and proceeded to make a semi circle in front of us ending up against the side rail on my right side, always front towards my car at all times. To this day my daughters insist it was a setup, couldn't really happen.

Luminarias as already described. Paper sacks with candles, sand in the botom/or suspended by strings and launched en mas. I've heard differing reasons for them always religious symbols. Common in NM, they are stunningly beautiful at night, dozens being launched at once in the still desert air. New Mexico is called the land of enchantment for very good reason

No love for Irving? I prefer it just for the back story. A chain of stores in Texas was going out of business. A group from a single town bought them and have made good run of it. I was shocked when I saw them here in Maine, even. The town's name? IRVING. It's in North Central Texas, bless their heart.
