Reply to comment by AspireAgain in TIL that George "Washington" Carver never formally used Washington as a middle name. He originally chose the middle initial W at random to ensure accurate mail delivery. Someone once asked if the "W" stood for Washington and Carver said "Why not?" He signed his name as George or George W. Carver. by AspireAgain
I like George Wallace (the comedian)

Did the audience know? I mean I have enjoyed much sang by pedophiles, but I did not know they were pedophiles at the time. In my defense, Billie Jean has a great beat.

Some context: I was decently good at a mid range high school. I would win meets with throws around 45 feet.

Reply to comment by Maatix in TIL the phrase “you can’t handle the truth” was created/ improvised by Jack Nicholson. The movie's original screenplay boasted the line "You already have the truth," which Nicholson trimmed to "You can't handle the truth." by SixedSigma
It seems to me that for "You already have the truth" to be delivered effectively, it would need to given in a resigned manor. It doesn't fit the scene or the character.
