I took a surfing lesson at the end of last year and had a horrible experience. I haven’t touched a board since and have only really gone knee deep in the water since (and I’m at the beach almost everyday). I’d always wanted to surf, and I borrowed a board and had a blast a week before I took the lesson . . . Then good god, I got a fucking psycho as an instructor and completely lost interest (I really want to try again though).

Idk why I’m telling you this, I’m really not trying to put you off or anything. Just . . . Take your time and research your instructor (that really goes for anything you get lessons in though, doesn’t it?). Don’t be like me and pick for stupid reasons, make sure it’s somebody known for being good with beginners. With all that said, I hope you do take lessons (with a good instructor!) and have fun.

Same lol. I really want to know where OP got that; cubone use to be one of my favorite Pokémon when I was growing up.

I’ve talked to other people who’ve been there and it seems very hit or miss with the goats; either you see none, or you see herds roaming everywhere. I was there late December or early January, and other people who were there around then seem to have more luck seeing the goats. I saw most of them later in the day too (I stayed until the park was closing).

I took a side-trip here last winter and was blown away by how beautiful it was. Plus, there are mountain goats everywhere. I was waiting in line to get in, and one just wandered along the road way. Once inside the park, I’d hit traffic jams and wonder, “why the fuck is everyone stopped?” Then we’d start moving and there would be a herd of goats up near the road. Amazing place.

I’m less than 5 miles from there but have never been. It looks pretty. Is there a lot to see there?
