>I got into a taxi at the airport headed to the Italian market. The taxi got onto 76, took me all the way out to the zoo and then headed back into center city and down to south Philly and tried to charge me close to $100. PPA didn’t care. I filed a report and never heard anything back.
They moved the zone several years back. It goes down to Washington Ave. now.

I was going to make some snarky comment about how it technically does make it extremely marginally closer, but ... it actually does not in any way make it closer. It would probably lose on the merits to the other proposed ideas.

As long as they bring their mail-in ballot and the envelope (basically everything they got in the mail), they will absolutely be able to vote in-person on the machines like anyone else.

In addition to being typically female professions, they also benefit from it being a passion career. The kind of person who wants to go into the field would only do so if they really believed it was important, so the employer (or in this case, government) can bake that into it. "Sure, it's not financially rewarding, but it's your calling."
