Well I'd first wonder what kind of governments the people in the non liberal democracies are living under, because in most Authoritarian regimes you don't get to have any form of unapproved opinion. If your rulers like China and Russia so you had better as well, or don't say a word it will probably be your last.

Solar powered Desalination of Sea Water is a well proven technology done in the Gulf states, especially Saudi Arabia. Additionally many minerals & metals are acquired during the desalination process.

Knowledge isn't about memorizing anything. Proper schooling teaches how to take information and apply it, that is what is known as knowledge, the ability to apply information to problem solving. Intelligence exists whether or not someone has attended formal education or not.

Natives of many lands for instance are extremely intelligent but may have never had any formal schooling except in what they learn from elders in day to day survival. Real World Problem solving approaches by the people who've had no formal education is often far more efficient and straight forward than methods employed by Ph.D's (which is why many Ph.D's are called Piled Higher and Deeper types by Engineers... 8-) )

As a retired Engineering instructor some of my best students had to unlearn a lot of rote memorization they'd been exposed to in so called High Schools but that was my purpose in sticking with the Associate and Bachelor's level students so they could unlearn the bad methods and begin to apply third order learning to solve the types of unpredictable problems presented in real world engineering projects.

Yes B-52's can carry Nuclear weapons just as every jet fighter built since 1958 can carry Nuclear bombs or nuclear tipped missiles. F117 and B-2 Stealth aircraft can also carry Nuclear bombs or nuclear tipped missiles. F-22 & F-35 can carry Nuclear bombs and nuclear tipped missiles, and are both Stealthy. Yeah we did Christmas Bombings during the Vietnam War just as the North Vietnamese attacked during their (New Years) Tet Offensive in 1968.

Where in Time is Carmen San Diego was fun. Then later the computer game " A Brief History of Time" with the accompanying book by Stephen Hawking. There was another computer game where time was all scrambled up and the player had to put time back together by knowing which object or invention could be used to solve a puzzle. Can't recall the name of the game though it was from 1995/1996. One of the first puzzles was how to lower the draw bridge to get into the castle. You had to go to the apothecary shop and get a flask of Phosphorous to add to a screen where you turned knobs to get a sine wave on the now working oscilloscope to match a carving on the stone next to it, then the draw bridge opened. Then to get into the basement you had to get the steam powered pump to draw more than 32 feet of water. The solution was to dip a bucket into cold water and put it under the condenser cylinder of the steam engine so that the steam was cooled more quickly, creating a vacuum permitting the steam pump to pump another 32 feet of water out of the basement. Now the nuclear reactor was accessible and you had to add cadmium control rods to the reactor in order to control the reaction and generate electricity so you could go to the telegraph office and send a message. But first had to find the player piano in the saloon that played horrible music because the player piano roll had been coded with Morse code not music. Put the player roll into the auto telegraph and the message gets sent in Morse code to call your mont golfier balloon to come pick you up. The game kept going with all kinds of inventors puzzles having to be solved. Cannot remember the name of the game but there was also a sinister figure who would show up and mess up time again if you were taking too long to solve any one puzzle.

If a sufficiently large enough Asteroid impacted the Moon (as 5 million so far have in history of the Moon, the Tycho Crater being half the size of Europe) and the Moon is still in orbit I don't see any feasible scenario. However if it were a Ceres sized Asteroid impacting the moon a few thousand chunks each five times the Everest sized Asteroid that took out the Dinosaurs would undoubtedly hit Earth ripping the Crust asunder, splashing the atmosphere into space and evaporating all of the oceans into the vacuum of space. So are you happy now? ALL life over size of microbes buried deep in rocks GONE.

How did the trans Atlantic economy change once resources began to be acquired from the New World? How did Colonies provide places for disaffected people to go to get away from the Old World and try their hand against the risks to life and limb in the New World? It won't be exactly the same but as always with new frontiers it will provide expanded opportunities for those who manage to survive, and their heirs.

Well your "belief" remains irrelevant until you can give an alternative reason for the clearly measured Red Shift of the light from ALL Galaxies relative to the Milky Way that increases the further out in Light years and the past one observes. It has remained consistent since Hubble discovered it by everyone around the world who has used telescopes (both optical and radio) to measure it. All observed wavelengths are Red Shifted or increased in wavelength the further out one observes, and in every direction. Hence the misnamed Big Bang (Newspaper people never get anything correct when it comes to scientific announcements). Big Inflation is more apt. The rate of inflation has also been observed to increase in spurts every 4 Billion years/4 Billion light years. So go ahead offer a mathematically consistent and repeatable explanation based upon the many, many observations made by thousands of observatories around the world (repeatable experiments) by tens of thousands of Astronomers since Hubble's time. You should receive a Novel Prize easily.

Well I have other sources of necessary nutrients, vitamins, minerals, but you do know that Oats, Rye, Flax are still much better than Wheat and definitely better than Corn, but that doesn't stop Wheat and Corn from being grown in greater quantities world wide than any of the healthier grains. Anyway I'll stick with my Cardiologist and my Oncologist at Ironwood Cancer Research Center because they've been correct through all of my treatments thus far to cure my Lymphoma faster than the first quacks at Banner (Who I will never go to again) who I got stuck with, and that was 7 years ago.

And all of the impacts that brought water were while the Earth was molten rock anyway. Except for the late term bombardment which heavily cratered the Moon and of course the Earth equally so, most impacts occurred in the first Billion years of Earth's 4 Billion year existence. Life didn't even appear until 2 Billion years ago and that was single cell stuff. Great Permian Mass extinction was 240 Million years ago. Dinosaurs 65 Million years ago. Many Mega Fauna 50,000 years ago from a string of Asteroid strikes like one here in Arizona near Winslow. Then the Usselo Horizon 26,000 years ago largely world wide forest fires from meteor strikes leaving layers of charcoal world wide. Asteroid winters usually only last about 1000 to 2000 years before clearing.

Not sure of your reference but he is former head of cardiology for Bethesda who retired from the military medical field and became head of cardiology for University of Arizona where I met him and chose him as my Cardiologist when an aneurysm was discovered on my Ascending Abdominal Aorta. And Oatmeal is considered one of the best foods for lowering cholesterol (not really an issue for me) and for maintaining plasticity of inner walls of arteries and veins by aiding on the prevention of hardening and plaque. So thank you but I'll stick with his medical experience.

Well most water came from Asteroids since the ratio for standard hydrogen versus heavy hydrogen in Asteroids matches the ratio in Earth's Water cycle. Comets have a much greater ratio of heavy hydrogen than standard hydrogen so water from comets isn't the source for water in Earth's Oceans/Lakes/Ground Water/Clouds.

I really think you'll enjoy the huge astronomical databases of images in every spectrum available. You can also view Earth and the other Planets highest resolution images. Just know the PC version gives you much higher resolution than the web application. You should also be patient and only click in 3 or 4 magnifications then wait until it updates completely before shifting to a desired target like Lunar lava tubes or Apollo landing sites then click another 3-4 magnifications and wait for the image to update. Very high resolutions are available for Moon and Mars. Also Earth you get really good images of Area 51, Nevada, Dugway Proving Ground and Skin Walker Ranch, Utah that haven't been blurred out like in Google Earth. Lots of images all over the Earth from the ISS super high resolution cameras. www.worldwidetelescope.org

The articles in the magazines should help anyone seeking advice on what kind of telescope is best for what purposes. One suggestion though is check the PC version of World Wide Telescope for which telescope drives (about 30 models) are easily interfaced by the totally free software that has several million deep sky objects catalogued and can use the software to control the telescope drive and even connect to an LCD camera on the scope to display on the PC screen while staying nice and warm indoors while telescope is outside in the icy cold but crystal clear winter nights. The URL takes you to the web page version but also has links for downloading the PC version. I haven't looked to see if the Apple and Linux versions have been produced yet. The PC version is necessary to control the telescope drive.
