Grand Isle being closer to Burlington is really nice!! You have a ton of natural areas by the lake that are private- multiple state parks, land trusts. You’re closer to Montreal and can also quickly get to NY adirondacks if you want. Kids in Grand Isle have a choice between a few different high schools. Milton is your closest grocery store. The Milton rec department is an excellent resource as well!
