It isn't the job of the city to subsidize a suburban car commute. Residents come first.

Uh yeah. It's a city with a very limited amount of space. If they didn't it'd be overrun by commuters in 5 seconds. The residential parking takes a lot of space from other projects as is.

- Born at Holy Cross, went to HS in Silver Spring. Lots and lots still in the area.
- Often, most of my family is from DC proper so nearly every day.
Plenty of people here who aren't transplants.

Shake machines are difficult to clean, it requires taking apart the entire machine. And with staffing issues being the way they are it often isn't something they can handle. And the McDonalds shake machine is poorly designed. McDonalds shut down a couple who worked to fix them.

One vehicle lane on Ohio Drive from the East Potomac Golf Course to Hains Point and back to Buckeye Drive will be replaced with a dedicated bicycle and pedestrian lane. That is often full of walkers and slow traffic, and the shared use path is way too small for that. I like that it's an option and it's better than nothing but I don't think it's suited to really fast riding.

Rock Creek Cemetery, near Fort Totten and Georgia Ave Petworth. About a mile walk each way but there's parking.

You are in no way shape or form required to drive. There's metro, the bus, Lime scooters, the Bikeshare. Just because you prefer to drive doesn't mean the city has to pay for it.
