Can an AI gain sentience? When we cross that threshold a lot of ethical questions are going to have to be asked as to what rights the AI will have

This would be mass market regulation, technically possible because goverments are the regulators, but feasibly impossible because of lobbying

I completely disagree. AI is not sentient and will not go through any democratic procedures. It is going to be used to eliminate jobs and weaken the working class

Does the solar industry have to plan on recycling all of these panels when they reach their shelf life or is this just capitalism as usual were they are going to churn out as much product without considering the environmental costs?

Azerbaijan and armenia had an agreement that azerbaijan would let armenia have access if they could have access to turkey. Armenia never gave them that direct route because russia doesnt want the natural gas to have a direct route to the west through turkey. Now they are blockading supplies to armenians that are wrongfully occuping a mountain in recognized azerbaijan territory. The armenians should leave the mountain and go live in armenia or they should make good on the deal to give access to turkey

Wow germany emboldened russia by having russia supply all of their energy with that pipeline and now they aint owning up, wtf
