You specifically stated “reasons why Ramaswamy may choose Zuckerman as his running mate in the gubernatorial election”.

We have had city water at previous homes in Kentucky, Indiana, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, Utah and Ohio. All were not great, a couple were awful. We are now in Vermont on the side of a mountain with no other structures above our house or well. Our well water is the best water we have ever had.

C’mon folks. Save the criticism for after they get some help. In the meantime, isn’t there somebody that they can call?

Runner up and honorable mention: Ireland Road and Shaker Hill Road, coincidentally also in Starksboro! Not really the town’s fault - it’s the geology.

We have taken our babies to swimming holes here for ….. well the oldest is now 31 years old! People are almost always thrilled to see the little ones splash about.
Be cautious in choosing a swimming hole with regard to water flow and temperature. The bottom of Bolton Potholes is usually pretty safe, same as at the end of Bartlett Falls (Bristol). Warren Falls is beautiful, but ohhhh so cold! The slower flowing rivers and creeks are warmer, but bring a box of salt for the leeches.

Haha, I grew up in Indiana and live in Vermont. I certainly understand your homesickness, because Vermont is very different from Indiana. Are you close enough to Brown County or Floyd’s Knobs to visit there? Hilly and lots of trees, with quite a few hiking trails

Spousal privilege is a rule of evidence that allows a defendant to prevent having testimony introduced regarding something that the defendant said to his/her spouse. It does not protect a false statement made to the police.

Toss it. Critter might survive because of those calories. And, as my 3-year old told me as he peed out in the woods, “pee pee doesn’t make the world dirty.” Neither do apple cores.

Wow, prime consideration! I forgot about how “dirty” power is from a standard generator. Suppose I could get an inverter style with clean power

I’ve got a generator that weighs less than 50 pounds. How much would that affect range?

Thanks for the information. Honestly, I’d be willing to wait a couple hours for the genny to get me out! When are they going to make a small electric pickup?

My question was serious. I get your point, but I’m a “belt and suspenders” kind of guy. Do you see a real problem with keeping a small generator in the car? They make them with spill-proof/leak-proof tanks, and the weight is less than many other items I keep in my car already.

Why the downvotes? I want to buy an electric, and am trying to figure out how to address the situations that people are proposing as problematic. Why not just keep a small generator in the car? They are cheap and can run for hours on half a gallon of gas.
Sea-Election-9168 t1_j9unusa wrote
Why oh why not throw a $100 gas generator in the trunk for an emergency???
