Yes, because if you want to play Xbox series x/s exclusive games then you do so on your xbox 1 through cloud gaming but you need good wifi for that. Thats what I've done and love it

Technically they even have access to series x/s games through cloud gaming but that depends on your wifi

I love it. I love the ps exclusives and xbox exclusives didn't really catch my interest that much. The one or two xbox exclusives that I am interested in I could still play them on my xbox so either way I get the best of both worlds.

I would say go after what your interested in if ps exclusives interest you, the dual sense controller interest you, etc then decision made. (Dual sense controller is great too)

I was in the same boat and went with Ps5. You can still use your xbox to play xbox exclusive, game pass games, etc through cloud gaming.

The Series S is amazing for the price point, especially for people who don't play often. The rumors of dropping the series s as a requirement for a game are stupid rumors floating around. there hasn't been any credible or trust worthy source from where this rumor has come. Unless a publisher or Xbox themselves state this then it isn't happening. If you really want the series s and have done your research on it then go for it

If you want a better experience and have the money then go for it. Though just for 1 game idk you need to consider all your factors.

If it's only 1 exclusive then I'd say go with xbox.

All these things you said are preference, and if you already made up your mind from the previous posts you made, then why bother asking if you've already decided. Both sides have butthurt fan bases, one looks like a fridge while the other router, etc. Play the games you want instead of nitpicking on things.

The ps5 is not weaker. Both consoles are similar. There are slight differences but not something you'll notice.

If the prices of games matter and you want to save money then I'd suggest getting an Xbox series s. Microsoft has a program called Microsoft rewards which lets you earn points for free to get games, hardware, etc

Walmart, target, etc also have them in stock right now.

Last of us is coming to pc later on.

If ps5 is more expensive and you don't care much for exclusives than go with xbox. Take into account though what you want to play, what your friends play on, price, etc.

End of the day both consoles are great!

And graphics i believe maximum on series s is 1440p and series x you can get up to 4k.

Series S is great! Only thing is less storage and all digital.

I am exactly in the same position as you. Go towards the games you want. Cloud gaming is becoming big you can use your xbox 1 s for lots of games if you have gamepass ultimate. The way I see it if I get a series x than my xbox 1 s doesn't get used but if I get a ps5 I can still use the xbox 1 s for old games and for cloud gaming.

Ps5 has amazing exclusives and you can use that for the next gen games.

Many games are also cross platform.

Just some advice in the end compare all your factors before buying. In the end both consoles are great.

Depends on what games your interested in, your budget, and were your friends play. I am an xbox guy but plan on getting a ps5 even though I have friends on xbox since we mostly play crossplay games.
