Call her provider. These days phones can usually just work in Europe in my experience, with a small fee. If you tell them you’re going they can let you know what options they have. Last time I think I paid $10/day for AT&T to just work normally in Prague. Way more convenient than finding a sim over there in the airport or something.

If they had a fancy website you’d complain they paid too much. Shit is updated recently and works on my phone, it’s fine. Want the transit police to start dancing on tik tok to prove their worth or what?

Not every twelve hour job can be done in two six hour stints.

I am not sure if you know IT recruiting... recruiters don't pay you. Or employ you. Or anything.

My first time growing overwinter too! Wishing us both many fat bulbs in spring.

Bunch of my garlic fought through the hay it was covered with... so I covered it with more hay... hoping it chills out until spring like it's supposed to but this weather has not helped.

Have you looked at Expedia etc? Google has decent hotel aggregation built in these days

I don’t partake these days but if I were you I’d wait for the first snow. Tripping in snow is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.

I miss having that be my primary store when I lived there. Always an adventure. My favorite was when you’d catch Macy’s security chasing somebody.

I mean, outside of Italy which is a different thing anyway, our pizza is actually way better than Europe's in my experience. Just not our Costco pizza. I think it's just a meme because it's surprisingly good, not because it's actually good relative to a decent pizza shop. But hey you do you.

Bean boots or anything with similarly hard rubber has terrible traction on icy sidewalks. I’ve just worn my 6in waterproof backpacking Lowas the past few years and they’ve been great.

Oh wow yeah $15-19 is what I was thinking, vs $10-12 at the grocery store… never seen a $30 bag myself so that makes some sense

And more than 2x as good, if you know how to use them. Definitely not worth the money for the Mr Coffee crowd tho (I say this as someone that thinks of coffee as pizza- even bad coffee can be fine, but also I can appreciate the good stuff, not trying to be elitist).

It’s just a romanticized thing in music and other media, like smoking blunts or doing shots. Sometimes it’s fun to cosplay as a member of the Wu Tang Clan.

My iPhone 8 was manufactured pre-2018 and I'm not keen on downloading random apps, but I suppose this might work better for OP. You're right most people aren't using antique phones like me.
